What are the different backlink profiles and what influence do they have on your website?
In the previous article I explained how to retrieve the content of a expired domain name in order to use them in SEO. Today we will look at the different types of backlinks. The following factors are all more or less important in the SEO and are interconnected, it is important that all these data are coherent:
- Number of do-follow links
- Number of anchors
- The presence of a keyword in the anchor
- The number of referring domains
- Number of backlinks
- The number of referring PIs
As confirmed by Google, a strong backlink portfolio is crucial for the ranking of websites.
On the other hand, all the backlink portfolio metrics are interconnected. Focusing on just one of these factors in "blind" mode will not increase your ranking, unless you also work on all the other metrics.
Focus on your natural links and try different link building strategies (net-linking).
The first places, for the keywords with a search volume are occupied by the giants with the richest backlink portfolios. There is therefore very little chance of being positioned.
On the other hand, there is less competition in the low volume SERPs, so good additional links will make all the difference in the page/domain rankings. So this is where you can find interesting opportunities.

Once this is established, it is necessary to carry out research and analyse your competitors' backlinks in order to find new ideas and surpass them.
Monitoring your backlinks is important, you must avoid as much as possible the toxic backlinks for your site and have a good vision of the new backlinks as well as those that have been lost.
Continuously acquiring backlinks quality in your niche/theme remains essential and should be the primary goal.
