If your store name looks like this: shop-name.myshopify.com, you can change it by going to Settings, click on Domains and then click on Change domain name. Insert your new name of the storethen validate the operation.
Change the name of a store not listed by Shopify
To change your own domain name (i.e. the one that has the following form: domain-name.com or other extension), you must buy another one. Indeed, you can't change a personalized domain name. To buy another one, go to Settings, click on Domains, then choose Buy a new domain name. Enter the domain name you want to buy and that's it. However, you can't use this new name for your current store. Unfortunately, you have to create a new one.

How to choose a name for your Shopify store?
